Hello! My name is Hanna Schmillen and I am a first year of the Morgridge College of Education for the master’s program at DU for Library and Information Science! Previously, I attended Illinois State University for my bachelor’s in Biological Sciences with a minor in Environmental Studies. At ISU I worked at the library on campus, Milner Library, and realized that I had accidentally found my career choice. I adore traveling and will take any opportunity to experience new things. My passions are many along with my list of interests. I have a passion for people; I yearn to assist with other’s education and personal development. Furthermore, I am a firm believer of life-long learning. Since I am in the science field, I obviously appreciate research and enjoy doing research of my own. For pastimes, I enjoy: reading, cooking/baking, kayaking, watching movies, and exploring nature!
