Open access generates much debate and discussion in the academic, publishing, government and library communities; the level of passion and acrimony surrounding this topic tends to produce more heat than light. Come and find out from some of the leading scientific open access visionaries from the academic, publishing, government and library communities what the future may hold---are any of the current open access publishing models viable, how advances in technology going to change open access, how are libraries going to be able to deal with the explosion of open access materials. Major groups involved with open access are librarians, publishers, scientists and institutional repositories. Each of these groups want something different from open access and bring their particular view point. Hence the title, MY View."
